WEDLAKE INDUSTRIES FACILITIES:
Wedlake Industries, LLC operates a PVC compounding business in a 33,000 sq. ft. facility in one of Hohenwald's industrial parks. Located about 75 miles south west of Nashville and having ready access to 4-lane and interstate highways, the company is strategically positioned to provide rapid delivery throughout the eastern United States. The plant, situated on a 8 acre site, is served by the South Central Tennessee Railroad. Wedlake Industries possesses three semi-truck loading bays and a railroad spur ensuring efficient movement of material into and out of the facility.
The production facility is designed to efficiently produce compounds without undue delay in changeovers between lots, while also eliminating cross contamination during those changeovers. This will be a particular benefit to those processors who purchase smaller quantities of compound since efficient changeovers mean lower costs to customers.
Technical support and product quality are assured through the company's skilled staff and well equipped laboratory. Standard products include both rigid and flexible vinyl compound, but the company welcomes opportunities to supply both tolled and custom developed products.
